MCP server

Adding the API to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code.

The MCP server puts the API in front of an assistant as tools. Your assistant calls them with your own key, so it reads exactly what your plan reads, counted like any other call.

The address

Text
https://tvschedule.org/mcp

Claude and ChatGPT

Add a custom connector with the address above. The connector signs you in to TV Schedule and asks you to allow it once; there is no key to paste.

Claude Code and Cursor

Clients that take a header can use your key directly:

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http tvschedule https://tvschedule.org/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $TVS_KEY"
JSON
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "tvschedule": {
      "url": "https://tvschedule.org/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer tvs_live_..." }
    }
  }
}

An example

Ask "When does EastEnders usually air, and how much of it is repeats?" The assistant calls find_show with the title, takes the id, then calls show_pattern and reads usual and repeat_share back to you. On the free key it says patterns are on Live, with the link.

The tools

Every tool, its parameters and the endpoint behind it are on MCP tools.
